A letter from Mr P.N. Tungwell, Codbridge, Essex:

"Having recently visited the world wide internet site, The International Society for the mock History of the World, I must say that it remains a most unusual intellectual pursuit. Nevertheless, my unbounded admiration goes to the society members for their unrelentless enthousiasm in their quest for hidden truths little known to man nor beast. Keep up the good work, chaps!"

At one time the society received a mail from a south-amarican gentleman, aking us to do some investigation into the familyhistory of a certain statesman of his fatherland. Due to problems with the funding of a mission, the society was unable to help the gentleman. We are deeply sorry for this.
